Privacy Policy

JustBible (“the app”) is developed by RVMobileAppDev (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles and how. If you have any questions, contact us at rvmobileappdev@gmail.com.

1. Information stored only on your device

The following are saved locally on your device and are not transmitted to us or to anyone else:

• Bookmarks, highlights and labels
• Journals and StudyPad notes
• Reading plans and your progress
• Reading history
• Workspaces, windows and app settings

This information is removed when you delete the app.

2. Diagnostics and usage analytics

To find and fix crashes and to improve the app, we use Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics). This may collect:

• Crash logs and diagnostic information (for example, the type of crash and stack traces)
• Device and app information (for example, device model, operating system version, app version, and language/region)
• App-interaction events (for example, which screens and features are used, such as opening search or creating a bookmark — not the content you enter)
• A non-permanent app/device identifier used to group these reports

This information is processed by Google acting as our service provider, and is used only in aggregate to improve stability and usability. It is not used to advertise to you and does not include your name, email address, or the text of your bookmarks, notes or searches. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data.

3. Downloading Bible texts and modules

When you choose to download Bible translations or other modules, the app connects to public Bible content repositories to fetch publicly available files. As with any internet request, those servers receive standard technical data such as your IP address. Your personal study data (bookmarks, notes, and so on) is never sent during downloads.

4. Purchases

JustBible PRO is an optional, one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment and billing are handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment information. Your purchase is verified on your device using Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s handling of purchases is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. Links to other services

The app may let you open external websites (for example a support page, or a web search you start). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which govern your use of them.

6. Children’s privacy

JustBible is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data retention and your choices

• Device data stays on your device until you remove it in the app or delete the app.
• Diagnostics and analytics are retained by Google according to their retention policies.

You can manage tracking and reset usage identifiers in your device’s iOS settings, and you can remove all locally stored data by deleting the app.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of the app, with a new “last updated” date above.
